We’ll Live Through The Long, Long Days
2025

Chelsea College of Art degree show installation

Aluminium sheets, LED, rice paper, acrylic paint, oil paint, water, black ink, wood, paper

A moon made from layers of rice paper, reflecting in the aluminium trays fitted and filled with black inky water. A wooden miniature floats, the bench sits. A string score accompanies you as well as the scent of Hinoki wood. Crickets by the water. A humid summer evening. You’re alone, but the moon is listening.

Sound piece: strings and keyboard recorded on H5 recorder and mixed in Ableton

Liberation From Thought
2024

Chelsea College of Art ‘Thought and Action’ show installation with sound
Shown in the Morgue (ALG07)

“the meditative, calming effect of repetitive tasks is for him, a liberation from thought and commitment to action – pure activity for its own sake without the intrusions of external reality”

This work exists in the echo of an idea that could not be realised. What began as a tightly controlled installation, designed to break, rebuild, and repeat—dismantled itself in the process of becoming.

Sit, the Past Is Already Written
2024

Installation, sound and performance at Motion Towards No Place exhibition in Safe House 2

‘Sit, the Past Is Already Written’ encouraged the audience to reflect on the nuances of time’s passage. Revealing the intricate processes involved in dealing with trauma, grief, forgiveness and subsequent healing. Upon the walls, a tapestry unfruls, woven from the threads of yesteryears penned in my diary’s pages. The walls evoked n ambiance akin to an extension of my psyche. The space was a collaborative platform, facilitating an intersection between artist and audience, where mutual contemplation found resonance

Anchorite (numinous dissonance)
2023

Performance at hArtslane

10 hour long performance piece wherein I documented my experience sitting in a solitary space, confronting my own work - absent of any concept of time or connection to the outside world. My only outlet being a notebook to record the phenomenological immersion of the interactive field between me, the art and the space
